Scottish Charities:

 

  • Children's Hospice Association, Scotland (CHAS) (the Scottish Charity committed to the provision of hospice services in Scotland, for children with life limiting conditions and their families - opened their SECOND Hospice, Robin House near Balloch in 2005) .
  • MND Scotland (MND Scotland celebrates its 30th Anniversary in May 2011. The charity exists to help all those affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND) within Scotland; those living with the disease, their families, carers and those health and social care professionals who contribute to the care of people with MND).

Local Charities:

  • The Mulberry Centre, Isleworth (The Mulberry Centre is a drop-in centre for anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer to visit for information and support. It provides a holistic approach within a non-medical and welcoming environment. Based at the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth but funded entirely from charitable donations, the centre was established in 2001 and became an independent charity in 2005.
