If asked to list the sights and sounds of Heston, most residents would not think to include the swirl o' the kilt and the skirl o' the bagpipes, but they would be wrong... Way back in 1933, three Scottish
Heston residents decided to form an association Our current membership of
nearly 80 souls (a good Scots expression that!) Our events are centred on Heston Methodist Church Hall in Heston Rd with a weekly Scottish Country Dancing Class and Club Night on Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm. So, if you have ever felt the urge to reel or jig ... if you want to find out what a 'pas de basque' is (sadly nothing to do with a risque French undergarment !) ... or if you just want to take part in some gentle exercise in a friendly atmosphere, why not come and join us ? All you need are two feet
(preferably one right and one left, although some of us
